Aman and Vakeel's journey began far from the shores of New Zealand. We arrived as Students, carrying little more than big dreams, boundless hope, and the courage to create something extraordinary. From long nights of study to countless cups of coffee shared between friends, we discovered the power of community and the magic of simple moments.
Caterpillar Café is more than just a café to us - It's a reflection of our journey. Just like a Caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, this spaces symbolises growth, resilience and transformation to us. Every cup of coffee served, every dish crafted and every smile shared carries a piece of our story and the love we have for bringing people together.
We are both passionate foodies and love nothing more than sharing our favourite flavours with friends, family, and our community. Our passion for food translates directly to the offerings we tempt our customers with. We have a selection of classics and items that “push the boat” in terms of experience and taste. Our service style is attentive and professional, yet always casually relaxed, and most importantly genuine and friendly.
Our mission has always been to create a hub for our local community to gather together, eat, drink and create memories. For the last three years, we have been fortunate to really nurture that and look forward to continuing to do so.
